Patricia McCallum is a New York State certified School District Administrator and School Counselor. An enthusiastic lifelong learner, Patricia is an active member of ASCA, NYSSCA, and WSCA. She is a High School Counselor Representative for the WSCA Executive Council and a WSCA Spring Conference committee member, collaborating to create current and educational professional development conferences for Long Island counselors. She has had the unique experience of attending the ASCA Annual Conference, and highly recommends it to all counselors for the ability it has to inspire and bring counselors together from all 50 states.   In her role as a High School Counselor at Bellport Senior High School in the South Country Central School District, she shares her passion for connecting students with personal growth-based opportunities, including clubs, sports, art, music, theatre, BOCES career and technical education, early college programs, and high school summer enrichment programs. Patricia specializes in assisting students and families in finding the best-fit colleges or trade schools based on the student's strengths, interests, and career aspirations. She guides students in finding financial aid programs and scholarship opportunities to achieve these goals. She uses her expertise and knowledge of scholarships to publish a curated online scholarship newsletter for the South Country community. When she is not assisting students and families, Patricia may be found traveling on school breaks with her husband, Brian, who is also an educator.
