Hello Western Suffolk Counselors,

As I close out my first year as President of the Western Suffolk Counselors Association (WSCA), I want to express my deepest gratitude. It has been an absolute privilege to lead this dedicated community of professionals.

Thanks to the WSCA executive board/council , committee members, and every single one of you for your unwavering commitment, collaboration, and hard work. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved and look forward to building on this momentum in my second and final year as the WSCA President.

The Western Suffolk Counselors' Association (WSCA) delivered an incredible lineup this year. Every gathering—from the Long Island Counselors Annual Conference (LICAC) to the Spring Conference were highly worthy, well-attended events that provided counselors with vital professional development, peer networking, and direct support for Long Island students . In addition, The College and Career Fairs served as a vital resource for students to engage with admissions representatives while parents acquired essential knowledge to support their children's postsecondary success.

Your unwavering dedication to the students of Western Suffolk has guided countless young people through challenges and celebrated their successes. You have spent the year balancing academic planning, mental health support, and endless advocacy, often going above and beyond to ensure every student feels seen and supported. You are the heartbeat of our school communities, and your tireless work does not go unnoticed. Now, as the doors close on another busy year, it is time to turn that same care and compassion inward. Please take this summer to step back, unplug, and recharge. You give so much of your energy to others; you truly deserve this time to rest, reflect, and celebrate all you have accomplished. Thank you for being an indispensable part of the Western Suffolk Counselors' Association
