Melissa Solomon is a New York State Certified School District Administrator, School Counselor and Coach. She holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Long Island University, and completed her studies for her Administrative Certification at SUNY Stony Brook.

She has served WSCA in many capacities over the past 25+ years. She currently serves as the Association Manager, Co-chair of the College and Career Fair Committee, Social Media Chair, and a member of the Scholarship Committee. She has split her 28-year career between the high and middle schools in the Copiague School District. Her passion is helping students in finding the best fit for their post-secondary journey. As a private college consultant, she has been able to help numerous families do just that. 

Her greatest accomplishments and joy come from her husband, (Reid), two sons (Dean and Andrew) and two Rottweilers (Bubba and Maverick).
