david oroza

David Oroza is a New York State Certified School Counselor. He holds a BS from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Leadership from Capella University and completed his Master's in School Counseling at New York Institute of Technology.

He has served WSCA in many capacities over the past 15+ years including all executive board positions. David currently serves as the Chair for the Spring Conference Committee and is a member of the By-Laws Committee. 

He serves as the Director of Pre-Professional Advising & Fellowships with Adelphi University and is an adjunct professor teaching first-year seminars. David has been involved with students ranging from K through graduate school in enrollment management and student affairs.

David enjoys spending time with his wife Kelly and two children Brayden (9) and Alexandra/Lexi (6), binge watching on Netflix, coaching his daughter's youth soccer team and dancing on stage at an annual dance recital for entertainment.
