Daphne Ali, Ed.D. is a dedicated educator and school counselor with nearly a decade of experience supporting students across Long Island and abroad. She currently serves as a High School Counselor and BOCES Coordinator at Huntington High School, where she advocates for equitable access to academic resources and provides comprehensive counseling services. Daphne also works with Western Suffolk BOCES during the summer, counseling at-risk students to improve credit recovery and reduce truancy.

Her career has spanned multiple grade levels and settings, from leading counseling programs for over 1,000 PK–6 students in Roosevelt Union Free School District, to enhancing college and career readiness as a counselor at Emirates National Schools in the UAE. She has also designed and implemented programs that strengthen student engagement, wellness, and achievement.

Daphne earned her Doctor of Education in School Administration and Supervision from Liberty University, a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Guidance from New York University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Labor Studies and Sociology from Manhattan College. She is certified as a School Counselor (K–12) with a bilingual extension in Haitian-Creole.

An active leader in professional organizations, Daphne has been a member of WSCA since 2021 and currently serves as the association’s Vice President of Development and Newsletter Editor.
